American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 4-5 years of experience, Level 1 trauma center background, and ASHA certification for a Voice, Speech & Swallow unit at a major academic medical center in Boston, MA.

Work in the Voice, Speech & Swallow unit of a Level 1 trauma center academic medical center in Boston, MA
-
Acute care setting with complex cases including tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients

Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) or Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) required; competency in MBS is strongly preferred

Epic EMR experience required

26-week contract

Day shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week

No floating required
-
No on-call requirement

Active MA Speech-Language Pathology license required (if applicable)

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required

Minimum 4-5 years of SLP experience required

Level 1 trauma center experience required

Experience with acute tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients required

Fully competent in either MBS or FEES; MBS competency strongly preferred

Epic EMR experience required

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions permitted)

Candidates must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months prior to consideration — this applies to all previous employees regardless of employment type (travel, permanent, or per diem)
