Inventory & Receiving Specialist
Location: Aliso Viejo, CA
Work Schedule: Mon to Fri (7:30am-4:00pm)
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Type: Long Term Temporary
Key Responsibilities

Processing Deliveries: Unload, check, and sign for incoming shipments from freight carriers and suppliers.

Quality Control: Inspect boxes and products for damage, correct quantities, and specifications against the original purchase order.

Inventory Tracking: Accurately update warehouse management software and log databases as new stock arrives.

Storage and Routing: Organize stock in designated warehouse or storage locations and deliver materials to the appropriate departments.

Auditing & Cycle Counts: Perform regular physical counts of stock to ensure they match digital records and identify discrepancies.

Dispute Resolution: Prepare documentation for returns, process refunds or exchanges with vendors, and report shortages.
Qualifications & Skills

Organization: Strong attention to detail to track part numbers, expiration dates, and physical counts accurately.

Technical: Familiarity with inventory control software, barcode scanners, and data entry.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy packages, and operate warehouse equipment like hand trucks or forklifts.

Communication: Clear communication skills for coordinating with carriers, procurement teams, and other internal departments.
