Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and appliances to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics and technical manuals; diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions swiftly.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment failure and extend asset lifespan.
- Repair or replace faulty equipment parts, including motors, belts, filters, valves, and electrical components.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Support construction projects by assisting with mechanical system installation and upgrades as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of appliance repair, HVAC/R systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration technology.
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams with confidence.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems repair and equipment installation across various platforms.
- Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices to ensure operational efficiency.
- Construction experience is a plus for supporting large-scale upgrades or installations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or lead small teams when necessary.
