Long-Term Substitute Teacher (Maternity Leave Coverage) – Starting January 2027
St. John School - Edgar is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and enthusiastic long-term substitute teacher to cover an upcoming maternity leave beginning in January 2027. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Instructional Leadership & Planning: Taking ownership of daily lesson planning, grading, and curriculum delivery to ensure seamless academic progress during the regular teacher's absence.
- Classroom Management: Maintaining a safe, positive, and structured learning environment that aligns with school values.
- Communication & Collaboration: Partnering with parents, fellow staff, and administration to provide updates on student progress and maintain consistent classroom routines.
- Student Support & Assessment: Assisting students with coursework, tracking their growth, and providing constructive feedback on assignments.
- Supervision Duties: Overseeing students during scheduled transitions, recess, or lunch periods as required by the daily schedule.
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per day
