Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Chess Teacher to join our vibrant educational team in Kansas City Metro Area. In this role, you will support the delivery of engaging chess instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. Your enthusiasm for teaching, combined with strong communication skills, will help foster a love for chess while developing students’ strategic thinking, concentration, and problem-solving abilities. Duties
- Assist lead instructors in planning and delivering engaging chess lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Support classroom management to ensure a positive, focused learning environment
- Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce chess concepts and strategies
- Maintain a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere conducive to active learning and participation
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Support administrative tasks such as preparing instructional materials and tracking student attendance
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
