Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Asphalt Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial asphalt paving, sealing, and striping projects from estimating to completion. Duties
- Lead the estimating, planning, scheduling, and execution of asphalt and civil infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Manage project budgets by controlling costs, reviewing estimates, and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately to guide on-site activities and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits, schedule updates, and manage any issues that arise promptly.
- Ensure all construction regulatory compliance requirements are met while managing contracts and scope changes efficiently.
- Lead teams on-site by managing personnel performance, fostering teamwork, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction site management in heavy civil or infrastructure projects involving asphalt work.
- Proficiency in sales and project management
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans review for accurate execution.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards, environmental policies, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects with an emphasis on cost control and schedule coordination.
- Excellent leadership abilities in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining clear communication channels.
