Total Rewards & Pay:

What You'll Do in this Role
- Produce a variety of welded assemblies while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Verify part counts before beginning each job to ensure accuracy
- Set up jobs and load/unload welding fixtures and jigs
- Operate MIG welding equipment according to work instructions and engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and process documentation
- Inspect completed weldments to ensure quality and conformance to specifications
- Verify work completed by other welders within the work cell
- Communicate material shortages, equipment issues, and quality concerns to supervisors or team leads
- Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
- Safely operate hoists and manual pallet jacks
- Support training of new welders as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For - Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass the Life Fitness weld test
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures, work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation in English
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and process sheets
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Possess tools necessary to perform the job
What We're Looking For - Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MIG or Pulse welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Vocational welding training or welding certification
- Previous experience producing quality weldments in a production setting
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Push and pull materials weighing up to 30 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Operate hoists and pallet jacks
- Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, heat, sparks, noise, and moving equipment
- Required use of PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, protective clothing, and safety footwear

Your base wage will be between $22.25 - $28.13 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.This position is eligible for a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on 2nd shift, in addition to the base hourly wage.
