We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting while helping pets and their families feel comfortable and cared for.
What You'll Do
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments
- Safely restrain dogs and cats during examinations and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain hospital cleanliness
- Obtain patient histories and assist with client communication
- Perform laboratory sample collection and processing as directed
- Assist with radiographs, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring support
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Stock supplies and help ensure efficient hospital operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
What We're Looking For
- Previous veterinary experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Compassion for both pets and people
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- Ability to lift and restrain pets safely
