Duties
- Take accurate orders from guests, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure swift and precise transactions
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accuracy in retail math and food industry standards
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures during serving and food preparation
- Assist with setup and cleanup of dining areas, including banquet or catering events, ensuring a clean and inviting environment
- Collaborate with team members to manage busy service periods effectively through excellent time management skills
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests in various settings like fine dining or nightclubs
- Experience in serving beverages and food in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or banquet events
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during high-volume shifts
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members seamlessly
