Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Front Counter Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be assisting Walk-in customers while managing transactions. Your responsibilities will be a variety of tasks that support both customer service and operational excellence within our store.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front end, including bagging snd tagging.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Engage in upselling and promotional activities to enhance sales performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the dry cleaning industry or retail store environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with customers service
- Basic knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management is desirable.
- Previous experience using POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
