The Role
The cashier is the first face every guest sees and the last voice they hear. That means you're not just ringing in orders. You're setting the tone for the entire experience.
You'll greet guests with energy, take orders accurately, handle payments cleanly, and keep the front of house dialed in at all times. When it gets busy, you stay calm and move with urgency. When it's slow, you stay ready.
What You'll Do
- Greet every guest like they matter, because they do
- Take orders accurately and answer menu questions with confidence
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments without errors
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and drink station clean, stocked, and guest-ready at all times
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and the rest of the team
- Own your station. Restock, wipe down, organize, and stay ahead of the rush
- Handle guest concerns with calm ownership, never excuses
- Follow opening, mid-shift, and closing checklists exactly as written
- Show up on time, in uniform, ready to work
What We're Looking For
- A real hospitality mindset. You actually like people
- Strong attention to detail. Orders right, counter clean, money handled correctly
- Calm under pressure. Rushes don't rattle you
- Team-first attitude. You help teammates without being asked
- Reliable. You show up, on time, every shift
- Professional in tone, language, and conduct. The kitchen is open. Guests can see and hear everything
- Previous cashier or hospitality experience is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person
