We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Onsite Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, and specifications.
- Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, suspension systems, and other critical components.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify machinery.
- Operate heavy equipment
- Maintain detailed service records including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inspection checklists.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and farm machinery servicing.
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Ability to perform welding, tire service, brake repair, alignment, and assembly tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to support operational needs effectively.
