We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers/Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes. Available Shifts
We are currently hiring for two positions:
Shift 1 – One-on-One Care (1:1 Client-to-Caregiver Ratio)***Must be able to Operate Manual Hoya Lift
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Weekends: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
This position provides individualized, one-on-one support to a single client, allowing caregivers to focus on personalized care and engagement.
Shift 2 – Overnight Care (1:2 Client-to-Caregiver Ratio)
- Monday–Friday: 11:00 PM – 8:30 AM
- Weekends: 11:00 PM – 8:30 AM
- Requirement: Must be available to work alternating weekends.
This overnight position provides care for two clients, maintaining a 1:2 caregiver-to-client ratio while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overnight needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Monitor clients' health, behavior, and overall well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare personnel.
- Implement individualized care plans based on each client's unique needs and preferences.
- Provide compassionate support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other care needs in home and community settings.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that encourage independence, social interaction, memory support, and emotional well-being.
- Safely assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies.
- Keep the home environment clean, organized, and safe.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, families, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Direct Support Professional (DSP), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or in a related healthcare role is preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or individuals requiring personal care is a plus.
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and document services accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Knowledge of CQL Personal Outcome Measures is a plus; training will be provided.
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
- Must be able to pass required background screenings and meet agency hiring requirements.
