Job description
The Janitor job duties and responsibilities include keeping facility and/or office area in
clean and orderly condition.
Position Responsibilities:
- Clean shop and office restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
- Daily Sweep outside main office entrance
- Empty shop and office trash cans daily at end of day
- Sweep shop floors daily
- Sweep and clean wood chop area
- Maintaining shop loading dock from any debris
- Handling chemicals such as pesticides at least twice a month for water bugs, ants, spiders
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment as needed
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
- Assist with setup and cleanup for luncheons, events, or special projects as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and reach with both hands and arms throughout the day.
- Must be able to see closely (clear vision at 20 inches or less), have peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Must be willing to adapt to various environments including but not limited to: Cold or Hot environment.
- Must be able to communicate in English
Non-Exempt: This position will be paid on an hourly basis for all hours worked, and is considered eligible for payment of overtime pay per applicable state law.
- This position requires a pre employment physical ability test & drug test. We are a drug free and zero tolerance employer.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
- Work hours Monday – Friday 5:00am – 1:30pm
- MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD.
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
