Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience operating box trucks and other delivery vehicles. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.
Duties
- Operate box trucks and other vehicles for the safe transportation of goods.
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or as a courier is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience with route driving and warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
