About Opportunity
A well-established, mid-size immigration law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to the Managing Attorney to provide dedicated administrative and operational support to firm leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and can manage multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Managing Attorney's calendar, scheduling, and daily priorities
- Screen and route calls, emails, and internal communications appropriately
- Prepare, proofread, and organize correspondence, reports, and case-related documents
- Coordinate meetings, client appointments, and internal team communications
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive firm, client, and personnel matters
- Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks on behalf of the Managing Attorney
- Assist with special projects, firm initiatives, and cross-departmental coordination
- Serve as a liaison between the Managing Attorney and other staff, attorneys, and departments
- Handle general administrative duties (filing, expense reports, travel arrangements, etc.)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an executive assistant, legal assistant, or similar support role (law firm experience preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and calendar management tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Prior legal or immigration law office experience a plus, but not required

Pay: $58,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
