Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktails, wines, beers—including craft beers—and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance the guest experience, staying current with industry trends and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations, handling food and beverages responsibly.
- Assist with food service duties, including serving meals during banquets or catering events, ensuring proper presentation and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, manage time effectively during busy periods, and support bar management initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, especially in fine dining or upscale environments.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, beverage recipe development, and brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling and basic math skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with beverage safety standards, food handling procedures, and food safety certifications preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event shifts like banquets or catering functions.
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
