Alpha Care Enterprises is onboarding Independent Contractor Drivers (1099) to provide non-emergency medical transportation in the following counties: Cook, Lake, Will, DuPage and McHenry. Contractors use their own vehicle and set availability based on accepted trip assignments.
Ideal for drivers with experience in NEMT, patient transport, rideshare, courier, or delivery services.
Services Performed
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments
- Assist passengers as needed, including wheelchair securement when applicable
- Operate a personal vehicle (sedan or minivan)
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
- Follow all traffic laws and safety standards
- Provide professional, courteous service
Contractor Requirements
- 2017 or Newer Vehicle (4 Door SUV/Van/Sedan)
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Clean background check
- Reliable vehicle (sedan or minivan)
- Valid auto insurance
- Smartphone with GPS
The following certifications are not required at the time of hire but must be obtained as part of the position.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- HIPAA Certification
- Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
- Wheelchair Securement Certification
- Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
- PASS Certificate
Compensation: $22–$30/hour (based on experience & certifications)
