Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Preconstruction Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL. This role is ideal for a senior construction professional with deep general contractor estimating experience, strong trade coordination skills, and the ability to lead complex pursuits from early conceptual budgeting through construction document pricing.
The Lead Preconstruction Manager will play a key role in shaping project strategy, supporting owner and design team relationships, driving accurate cost development, and identifying value engineering opportunities. This is a strong opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys collaboration, mentorship, and working in a fast-paced preconstruction environment with multiple active pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction and estimating efforts across multiple pursuits, from conceptual estimates through construction document pricing.
- Coordinate pricing, scope review, and bid strategy across all trades and CSI divisions.
- Manage subcontractor outreach, bid coverage, RFIs, qualifications, and proposal analysis throughout the bid process.
- Collaborate with owners, design teams, internal stakeholders, and subcontractors during presentations, reviews, and coordination meetings.
- Provide value engineering, cost savings recommendations, constructability input, and logistics coordination.
- Mentor less experienced preconstruction and estimating team members while supporting best practices and process improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year.
