Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Property Operations Manager, where you will lead the day-to-day management and operational excellence of residential properties. This role is vital in ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards, tenant needs are met with exceptional service, and regulatory compliance is consistently achieved. Your energetic leadership will drive property performance, foster positive tenant relationships, and streamline administrative processes to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.
Duties
- Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing, tenant screening, and lease negotiations to ensure high occupancy rates and revenue growth.
- Manage property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs, inspections, and preventative upkeep using Buildium
- Administer rent collections, lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping; maintain accurate filing systems for legal and administrative documents.
- Handle customer service inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy; resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management strategies.
- Support property leasing efforts through upselling amenities and services while maintaining excellent customer relationship management practices.

Experience
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Hands-on experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities including leasing, maintenance coordination, legal compliance, and administrative tasks in an office environment.
- Excellent customer service skills complemented by phone etiquette and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Strong negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract negotiations; experience in sales or upselling is advantageous.

Pay: $55,682.01 - $67,057.91 per year
