Location: The HUB Brooklyn (Jacksonville, FL) Status: Full-Time / Part-Time
Alder & Oak is seeking a hard-working Barback to support our bar team in a fast-paced, high-end Mediterranean restaurant. You will be responsible for keeping the bar stocked, clean, and running efficiently so that our bartenders can focus on the guests.
Stocking: Keep liquor, beer, wine, and ice bins full throughout the shift.
Prep: Prepare fresh garnishes (citrus, herbs) and batch mixers.
Cleaning: Wash and polish glassware; keep the bar top and floor clear of debris.
Maintenance: Change kegs and haul trash/recycling as needed.
Support: Assist bartenders with any immediate needs during peak service hours.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs (kegs and cases) and stand for long shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous restaurant or bar experience is a plus, but we will train motivated candidates.
