Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance.
- Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate janitorial equipment and eco-friendly products.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with guests and team members to foster a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality settings; hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and polishing.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
