Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and flair, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items including wine pairings, specialty drinks, and desserts to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through proper food handling, bussing tables, and assisting in food preparation when needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance guest experiences
- Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills

Pay: $25.04 - $30.15 per hour
