About the Role
A fast-paced food manufacturing company in Vernon is looking for a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP workflow. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, enjoys hands-on transactional work, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with potential to convert to permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities-
Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.

Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match).

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit memos.

Maintain organized AP files and ensure compliance with company policies.

Communicate with internal departments and vendors regarding invoice or payment issues.

Support month-end AP closing tasks as needed.
Qualifications-
2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.

Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
