Part-Time Event Staff – $15.00/Hour
Position Summary
The City is seeking energetic and customer-focused Event Staff to support weddings, banquets, parties, tournaments, and other special events. Event Staff are responsible for event setup, food and beverage service, guest assistance, and cleanup while providing exceptional customer service.
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, linens, and event equipment.
- Provide food and beverage service during events.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service to guests and event participants.
- Maintain clean and organized event spaces before, during, and after events.
- Perform cleanup duties including bussing tables, washing dishes, removing trash, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Support event operations as needed, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler's Permit within the first week of employment.
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule
- Part-time position; not eligible for benefits.
- Flexible schedule based on event needs.
- Preferred availability is weekdays, weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
