Position Summary
As a Barista/Retail Associate, you'll be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors. You'll prepare beverages, assist customers with retail purchases, maintain a clean and organized café, and help uphold the premium standards that define the Pursuit brand.

Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso beverages, coffee, tea, smoothies, and other café offerings to company standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Process customer transactions, including cash and credit card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
- Restock food, beverages, retail products, and café supplies throughout the day.
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Learn about our products, ingredients, supplements, and wellness offerings to confidently educate customers.
- Support promotional events, product launches, and seasonal offerings.
- Work collaboratively with the Pursuit coaching and café teams to deliver a premium member experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista, café, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Dependable with excellent punctuality.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Availability for mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Passion for health, wellness, fitness, or specialty coffee is a plus.
