Job Description:
Operating in the mid-state area of Tennessee, including Nashville and the surrounding counties, we are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Party Chief who would be responsible for: Performing boundary, topographic surveys, and construction stakeout. Experience with TDS SurveyPro or Carlson CE data collection software, robotic total stations, and GPS a plus.
These positions are for both locations in Murfreesboro and Clarksville Office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Comprehensive Land Surveys: Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and tools to accurately measure distances, angles, and elevations, ensuring precision in all surveys.
- Prepare Detailed Maps and Legal Descriptions: Transform survey data into comprehensive maps, plats, and legal descriptions that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
- Perform Construction Staking Calculations: Execute accurate construction staking calculations to guide the layout and alignment of structures on project sites.
- Boundary Surveys and Discrepancy Resolution: Carry out boundary surveys to establish and confirm property lines, resolving any discrepancies with precision and professionalism.
- Provide Accurate Survey Data for Project Planning: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to supply precise survey data that facilitates seamless project planning and execution.
- Maintain Meticulous Records: Keep accurate and detailed records of survey data, field notes, and reports, ensuring all documentation is well-organized and readily accessible.
- Field Crew Management: Lead and manage field crews, providing clear instructions and guidance to ensure efficient and effective survey operations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Reading Civil Plans and Construction Blueprints: Demonstrated ability to interpret and work with civil plans and construction blueprints.
- Strong Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Meticulous approach to all surveying tasks, ensuring high levels of precision and reliability.
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders and address any challenges that arise.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
