92-26 Electric Journeyman/ Apprentice Lineman I-IV:
Journeyman Line worker (Distribution): Position performs the constructions, maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead electric systems. This position responds to service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems, and performs routine maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery and tools.
Requirements: Successful completion of the requirements of the Apprentice Lineman IV position with Stillwater Electric Utility, or certification as a journeyman lineman from an approved training facility, high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Oklahoma Class A commercial driver’s license with air brake rider (trailer). This position reports directly to the Electric Distribution Crew Chief.
Pay Rate: $52.53 per hour plus comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Annual leave, Sick leave, Holidays, and Personal Days.
Electric Apprentice Lineman I-IV: Position performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks to assist in the construction, maintenance, and operation of underground and overhead electric systems while learning specified job criteria. Progression to the next apprentice level requires demonstration of learned skills and knowledge through field and written tests. The associated years of the certified apprentice training program are provided in conjunction with the Northwest Lineman College (NLC) Line Apprentice Training Program.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, valid driver's license. Must obtain an Oklahoma License within days of hire. Must obtain a Class A CDL with air brake rider, within 12 months of hire.
Pay Range: $26.10- $40.15 per hour DOQ plus a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, annual leave, sick leave, holidays, and personal days.
