We are seeking a self-motivated, highly analytical individual to join the Operations Finance Team as a Senior Financial Analyst . This role provides analytical support and directly influences company initiatives and continued growth by transforming data into actionable insights. This position delivers key financial reporting and analyses to senior leadership and various operational executive leaders, prioritizing financial storytelling, operational decision support, and an analytics-led culture. A successful candidate is able to recognize and adjust to change, create disciplined and innovative processes, and act as a decision-maker, leveraging cross-functional collaboration. The right individual for this role is extremely driven, forward-thinking, meticulous, problem-solving oriented, presentational, and has the ability to foster team excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and generates accurate financial reports, including analytical insights to support the finance organization.
- Prepares executive-ready analysis and presentation materials for senior leadership, delivering insights during month-end close and beyond
- Assists with the development of both the field and business forecasts
- Drives automation and analytic initiatives (Excel, Power BI, AI-enabled reporting) to streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and shift the organization from manual reporting toward insight-driven decision-making.
- Performs ad-hoc analysis where strong excel skills and an analytical background are essential.
- Collaborates with each business segment and their respective operational and finance leads
- Serves as a liaison between Corporate FP&A, Accounting, and the Operational Finance team
- Conducts market and operational research to identify trends in the business.
- Partner with field leaders to assist in driving operational results with a focus on sales, margin, operational expenses, and operational income
- Supports the business through merger and acquisition activity.
- Evaluates project viability, utilizing ROI and capital investment analysis.
- Directs the business to be more analytical driven rather than just reporting focused
- Translates complex financial and operational data into clear insights that answer the what, why, and what’s next for the business
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have advanced or expert skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Preferred skills in Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, Alteryx or similar.
- Experience working with large-scale data, reporting tools, and other financial systems.
- Exceptional planning and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely present core information.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative setting.
- Ability to prioritize workload to achieve effective results in a fast-paced and growing environment.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree required
Course of Study: Finance or Business, or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum experience: 3 - 7 years of Finance experience required

Type of Travel Required: National
Amount of Travel Required: Approximately 10%
POSITION LOCATION: Charlotte, NC – Primarily on-site with flexibility around remote work as needed

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.

Compensation Range:
$75,300.00 - $113,100.00
