Qualifications
- Valid natural hair specialist, barber or cosmetology license is a plus but not required for braiders
- Established clientele is great but not required ( we will assist you in building clients)
- Strong braiding skills with attention to detail
- Professional, self-motivated, and business-savvy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional, business-minded, and self-motivated
- Valid Texas nail technician license
- Valid Texas esthetician license
Proven experience as a Hair Braider or similar role
Proficient in various hair braiding techniques
Strong knowledge of hair care products and treatments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Braiding and/or natural hair styling: 2 + years
*Be able to work under pressure
* As a hairstylist you must have basic knowledge of and passion to work with naturally curly, wavy, kinky hair beyond just blowouts and silk presses
Responsibilities
As a Hairstylist/Braider/Loctician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional services to our clients
As a Braider perform various hair braiding techniques such as cornrows, box braids, twists, and more
Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
