Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic radiology team. The ideal candidate will operate advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' internal structures, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This role requires a strong foundation in radiologic imaging, patient care, and radiation safety procedures. The CT Technologist will collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional diagnostic imaging services within a fast-paced medical environment. Candidates with experience in emergency room settings, trauma centers, or specialized imaging modalities such as PET scans, interventional radiology, or mammography are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and related radiologic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Implement radiation safety protocols diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
- Assist with complex imaging procedures including PET scans, fluoroscopy, interventional radiography, and nuclear medicine techniques.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret imaging results and support diagnostic evaluations across various departments.
- Ensure proper sterilization and aseptic techniques during procedures involving invasive or sterile interventions.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures requiring physiological monitoring and respond appropriately to any abnormalities.
- Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.
- Support emergency medicine efforts by providing rapid imaging services in urgent care or trauma situations.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with specialized training in CT imaging.
- Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as CT scanners, fluoroscopy units, mammography machines, DEXA scanners, and nuclear medicine devices.

Pay: Up to $84,000.00 per year
