Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely service.
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to produce high-quality dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing work areas.
- Help with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
- Contribute to banquet and event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and maintaining a friendly attitude.
- Support the overall operation by communicating effectively with team members and adhering to hospitality protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen safety practices.
- Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and assist customers when necessary.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of hospitality principles, including serving and bussing duties.
