Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Project Manager specializing in Financial Management. The Project Manager Finance and Operations is responsible for overseeing agricultural projects and assets while managing the financial, contractual, and compliance aspects of farming operations. This role integrates project management, financial analysis, and property-level oversight—including land agreements, insurance coverage, and tax considerations. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the operations, land assets, and capital investments are efficiently managed, financially optimized, and compliant with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project and operational budgets
- Track costs and analyze financial performance
- Support month-end close processes
- Track and reconcile project expenses and accruals
- Manage land leases, purchase agreements, and easements
- Track contract compliance and renewal schedules
- Support land acquisition and strategic planning
- Understand property insurance coverage including managing renewals
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage across assets
- Track property taxes and agricultural exemptions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain documentation for audits and filings
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong financial acumen
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Knowledge of agricultural operations

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
