At Master Paving Engineering you will be joining a passionate group of high performers specializing in Underground Utilities (Water, Sewer, Drainage) and Sitework.
We are seeking a Superintendent with the ability to the accomplish the responsibilities listed below:
Responsibilities
- 5 years minimum as a superintendent for heavy civil construction projects.
- Ability to manage the day-to-day field activities
- Knowledgeable with safety requirements and enforces our zero-tolerance policy.
- Ability to log and document all inspections
- Maintain daily paperwork such as daily logs, schedule updates and E-mail correspondence
- Manages and supervises all crews and personnel onsite, oversees quality of construction and work.
- Executes the proper performance of construction activities in accordance with contract specifications, drawings, schedule, budget, company policies, industry standards, applicable codes and requirements including OSHA guidelines.
- Assists the Project Manager in all aspects of the project
- Manages and supervises subcontractor work including concrete paving and asphalt paving, Surveyor layout.
- Inspects and approves work performed, and materials supplied
- Reviews and interprets plans, specifications and other contract documents related to all work on the project.
Requirements
- Experience with earthwork and Underground utilities
- Have good communication skills with workers, fellow employees, and project managers.
- Ability to proficiently read and understand blueprints
- Must have a valid driver’s license and eligible to work in the U.S.
