Social Media Manager

Mavericks of Scottsdale is a growing western apparel brand rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and community. We’re looking for a full-time Social Media Manager who not only understands social media, but lives and breathes the western lifestyle and is excited to help grow a small business brand in the fun, fast-paced environment of Old Town Scottsdale. This role blends content creation, analytics and event coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow Mavericks of Scottsdale’s social media presence across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
- Create engaging content including short-form video, photos, and graphics
- Cover in-store and off-site events, including Hat Bar events
- Stay up to date on social media and western lifestyle trends
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance and insights
- Present clear analytics and reporting to the Marketing Manager
- Collaborate on content strategy to support brand growth and e-commerce goals
- Maintain brand voice, visual consistency, and western authenticity
- Continuously learn, test, and grow alongside the business
Qualifications
- Strong passion for western culture with at least some western background
- Proven experience in social media management
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting
- Comfortable shooting and editing basic photos and short videos
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for graphic design and visual aesthetics
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated
- Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-moving small business environment
- Ability to work events, including occasional evenings or weekends
Bonus (Not Required)
- E-commerce experience
- Experience working with lifestyle or fashion brands
- Email marketing or CRM familiarity
