## Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting good oral health practices.
## Duties
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with patient exams
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques
- Take dental x-rays
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Administer local anesthetics under the dentist's supervision
- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs monitoring
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Utilize Open Dental software for patient charting
- Practice HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy and confidentiality
## Qualifications
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience with medical records management and patient assessment
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is preferred
- Knowledge of infection control procedures in a dental setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and patient care abilities
Pay: $54.00 - $55.00 per hour
