Job Description
The Paraprofessional position assists the certifies staff members in creating a positive learning enviroment to faciliate the personal, social-emotional, behavioral and intellextual development of all students. This position is an integral part of the educational team beacuase of the support given to the students to promote achievement and success while in school.

Our proprietary Life Essentials curriculum and supportive programs are designed to prepare children for school while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We have partnered with the Evesham Township Public School for their Universal Preschool Program.
Responsibilities
- Support and assist the classroom teacher in the use of all print and electronic materials for instruction.
- Provide academic assistance to students under the direction of the classroom teacher.
- Provide prompting, cueing, and redirecting student participation to the tasks assigned.
- Helps students who are absent or who need additional assistance.
- Works with individual children or small groups in re-teaching, reinforcing and recviewing after the teacher has provided the initial instruction.
- Supports the teacher strategies and monitors the classroom.
- Provides direct assistance to classroom teachers in maintain a neat, orderly classroom and assisting in programs.
- Adapt to classroom activities and assignments to serve the purpose of reinforcing classroom objectives.
- Attends meetings and training as required.
- Assists in activities for self-care for students.
- Maintain confidentiality specific to students and families.
- Must be physically able to bend and lift to assist students with toileting, feeding and ambulating skills as needed.
- Supervise children to and from the busses as required.
Terms of Employment
- 10-month contract renewed annually. Salary and benefits as determined by the Evesham Township Public School
- Able to pass fingerprint and criminal history report
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.65 per hour
