We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient individual to provide supportive care and assistance to an individual in a home or community-based setting. The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping others maintain comfort, safety, dignity, and independence while building a positive and respectful relationship.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care support as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner
- Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and general household organization
- Support mobility, transfers, and safe movement within the home or care environment
- Monitor for changes in wellbeing and communicate observations appropriately
- Assist with reminders for appointments, routines, and daily tasks
- Follow care instructions and maintain accurate notes or documentation when required
- Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Previous caregiving, home care, personal support, or related experience preferred
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful approach to client care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of safety practices and personal care support
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, as needed
