Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active SLP license, eligible in Maine
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
- Previous experience in school-based pediatrics preferred
- Open to SLPs with teletherapy experience or strong SLPA backgrounds
- Familiarity with K–5 caseloads and IEP processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through fifth grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school regulations
- Adapt services to both in-person and teletherapy models as needed
- Guide SLPA staff, as appropriate, in treatment activities and program development
