Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring an Electrical Estimator in Palm City, FL for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.
Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 Per Year BOE
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the full estimating lifecycle from initial document review through final bid submission and project handoff
- Perform detailed and accurate takeoffs from plans and specifications
- Develop complete, well-structured estimates for commercial and industrial electrical scopes up to $10,000,000
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) during the bidding phase
- Participate in post-bid negotiations, scope reviews, and client discussions
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
- Demonstrated ability to independently complete full estimates for projects from $50K $10M+
- Underground utilities, parking lot lighting, interior electrical installs
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Experience developing detailed takeoffs and comprehensive bid proposals
- Proficiency with estimating software (ConEst, Accubid, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard for prolonged periods
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required occasionally.
Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
