We have an immediate opportunity for a Leasing Agent to join our team in the heart of North Columbus, GA.
As the Leasing Agent, you will be a key player in our apartment community, reporting to the Property Manager. You will be handling all aspects of leasing and marketing while ensuring positive resident relations. Your role includes managing apartment rentals, overseeing move-ins, lease renewals, generating and handling leads, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in procedures according to company policies
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent experience in residential properties, rental operations or related experience
* Relevant Experience working at property
* Knowledge of Yardi Breeze would be helpful
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
* Strong customer service skills, ability to manage difficult or emotional customer and staff situations, respond promptly to customer needs and quickly respond to resident requests
HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
* Prioritize interactions and commnication with customers. Provide community and amenity tours.
* Provide feedback on sales barriers and customer objections to management team.
* Complete applications, secure deposits, and process lease paperwork for move-ins and move-outs.
* Handle phone calls and in-person inquiries, maintaining guest cards and following up with prospects.
* Prepare and submit applications for approval, ensure readiness of apartments for move-in.
* Assis with Lease renewals, accept rental payments.
* Support marketing and sales initiatives, maintain up-to-date market information.
* Manage work order requests
* Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies and contribute to a positive team environment.
* Ensure the office and model apartments are and open on schedule, communicate policy changes, and support the community team.
* Inspect occupied units regularly with maintenance or other staff.
* Assist with social media and communication on various platforms to engage customers.
* Always represent the Community positively and professionally, both in and out of the office.
* Log, file and retrieve customer packages.
* Schedule and follow up on maintenance requests to aid in timely resolutions.
* Maintain office organization and cleanliness.
* Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management programs for reporting purposes.
* Other assigned duties.
PLEASE NOTE: SALARY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE
