Brooker’s Founding Flavors Ice Cream is a small, family-owned ice cream shop in Bluffdale, UT with a unique Founding-era theme and a strong local following. We are looking for a reliable, upbeat Shift Lead to help lead our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Job Overview
As a Shift Lead, you’ll be the leader of your shift, responsible for keeping the team on task, ensuring procedures are followed, and delivering a high-quality customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be actively serving customers while guiding your team.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be available to work at least one weekend night (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Schedule
- Monday–Sunday availability
- Shifts typically:
- 10am-5pm
- 12pm-5pm
- 5pm-close (time varies but typically 30-60 minutes after parlor closes)
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the team during your shift
- Ensure all team members stay on task and perform their duties efficiently
- Execute and oversee proper opening and closing procedures
- Ensure all tasks in Monday.com are fully completed and checked off
- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure every customer has a positive experience
- Step in to assist team members as needed to keep operations running smoothly
Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required)
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or leadership roles
- Experience with POS systems (Toast or similar)
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills
Pay & Perks
- Starting at $14 -$16 per Hour ($12 -$14 base hourly wage + Tips)
- Raises considered every 6 months for outstanding performance
