As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager who is ready to lead from the front, build an incredible team, and help deliver unforgettable customer experiences every single day.
Founded in Pittsburgh in 2012, Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop has grown from one neighborhood candy store into 23 locations (and counting!) across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, West Virginia,Texas and Minnesota.
In addition to our retail stores, we distribute candy and soda to more than 15,000 independent retailers nationwide. We're still growing, and we're looking for great people who want to grow with us.
This is more than a management position.

Our Assistant Store Managers lead by example.
You'll help oversee daily operations including:

Opening and closing procedures

Team scheduling
-
Cash handling

Inventory management
-
Merchandising and visual presentation

Training and coaching team members

Maintaining a clean, organized store

Delivering exceptional customer service

Helping drive sales and store performance
Most importantly, you'll create an environment where both customers and team members enjoy being.
You have previous retail management experience in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and know how to motivate a team.
This is a full-time position (35- 40 hours per week), including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Dependable transportation is required.
You genuinely enjoy talking with customers-whether they're five years old or eighty-five-and love helping create memorable experiences.
You're positive, approachable, and understand that great stores are built by great teams.
You take pride in clean, organized spaces and enjoy creating visually exciting displays that keep customers exploring.
