Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks for the delivery of goods.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.

- Truck Type: 2018 Freightliner Cascadia
- Load Type: Empty cans
- Availability: Driver must be available 24/7 depending on load schedule
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Familiarity with various types of trucks such as refrigerated trailers, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and route driving techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatchers and customers.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player when necessary.
