Dance Class Teacher / Birthday Party Lead Teacher

In this exciting, multi-role position, you’ll bring your passion for dance, creativity, and organizational skills to help create magical experiences both inside and outside the studio. At Hello Dancer, we foster a joyful, inspiring environment where everyone is welcomed and treated like family.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives on variety—teaching young dancers, working Birthdays and dance camps. If you’re passionate about dance, have a genuine love for children, and enjoy creative and organizational challenges, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging 45-minute to 1-hour dance classes (ballet, tap, hip-hop, creative movement, and mommy-and-me) for children aged 2 months to 9 years.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and joyful classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression.
- Build meaningful relationships with children and families to make every studio visit a magical experience.
- Execute the studio’s curriculum with enthusiasm and creativity.
- Assist with studio upkeep and cleanliness after classes.
- Help to lead and assist Birthday parties on the Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons
- Work the Holiday and Summer Camps
Requirements
- Dance Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of dancing experience required; prior teaching experience with young children (ages 1–9) is a plus but not required.
- Warm, friendly personality with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and families.
- Team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- A background in early childhood development or the arts is a bonus.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $15–$40/hour, depending on responsibilities and experience.
Details
- Job Type: Part-time
- Expected Hours: 5–15 hours per week - depends on classes and Availabilty
- Schedule Needs: Weekday Mornings ( 8- 12pm), Weekday Afternoons/early evenings (3pm - 7pm), Weekend Mornings (8-12pm), Weekend Afternoons (12-3 or 3-6) for birthday Parties (every other weekend)
- Location: In-person at Hello Dancer studios in Austin, TX (78756 / 78704)
