American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Peoria, IL, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit / Recovery) setting within a hospital environment
-
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

On-call required for weekends and holidays
-
May float to other facilities within the health system, including a behavioral health unit and additional hospital campuses
-
Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted)
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

ASN required; BSN preferred

Proficiency in critical thinking and independent clinical decision-making

Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web browsing

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsible for patient assessment, individualized care planning, and ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes

Maintains accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation to support continuity of care across the healthcare team

Expected to identify personal learning needs and contribute to the professional development of peers

RTO not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not remain on continuous assignment at this health system for more than 1 year; a 6-month break in service is required before returning to any location within the system
