<Duties>
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence across all departments.
- Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to foster a high-performance team.
- Manage shift schedules, monitor labor costs, and control inventory to optimize profitability and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking processes, and presentation to uphold quality standards in both casual dining and fine dining settings.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Oversee kitchen operations including food production, catering services, bar management, and banquet events when applicable.
- Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and support onboarding processes to build a strong team foundation.
- Assist with budgeting activities, cost control measures, and financial reporting to meet business goals.
<Qualifications>
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in staff training & development and team leadership.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and inventory control.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and shift supervision.
- Hospitality management background with a focus on culinary excellence and guest satisfaction is highly desirable.
