Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
- Conduct product demos and upselling to promote featured items and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing shelves, restocking stock, and creating attractive displays
- Stock shelves and backroom areas to ensure products are available and easily accessible for customers
- Assist with inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product rotation
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
- Prior experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding team members during busy hours
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including weekends
