We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to support our Property Manager, help run daily operations, and make our community a place residents love to call home.
This is more than an administrative role — you’ll be at the center of leasing, operations, and resident relations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while having fun with a supportive, energetic team.
What You’ll Do – Your Day Will Never Be Boring!
As our Assistant Property Manager, you’ll have a hand in everything that keeps the property running:
- Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing laws, ADA, and other regulations
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of a 300–400 unit property
- Set appointments, show apartments, certify residents, and maintain high occupancy
- Process applications quickly while following selection criteria
- Ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and proper paperwork
- Respond to resident concerns, including maintenance, noise, rent, or safety issues
- Collect and post rent, manage delinquencies, late notices, and evictions when necessary
- Oversee security deposits and tenant insurance programs
- Enforce lease rules, safety regulations, building codes, and local ordinances
- Support lease renewals, attract new tenants, and educate residents on policies
- Complete and file reports, including traffic, availability, lease renewals, and delinquency reports
- Communicate frequently with the Property Manager and Regional Manager about community needs
- Supervise, train, and motivate property staff
- Research competitors’ pricing, policies, and specials to keep the property competitive
- Draft and distribute professional resident correspondence weekly, monthly, or quarterly
- Build strong relationships with residents, contractors, and local organizations
- Continue to innovate for efficiency, profitability, and resident satisfaction
- Perform any other duties as assigned to help the property run at its best
You’ll truly be the go-to person who keeps everything in motion while making residents feel at home.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in property management
- Familiarity with real estate contracts, leases, and Fair Housing regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with rent collections, posting to G/L, daily deposits, and SODAs
- Ability to handle crises calmly and professionally
- Yardi experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Limited supervisory duties: assist the Property Manager with staff oversight and day-to-day operations.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Primarily an office role, but may include walking, standing, or lifting up to 20 lbs. Reasonable accommodations provided if needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
