Overview
We are a new and growing collectibles company seeking an experienced livestream production and technical setup specialist to build a professional, high-energy Whatnot streaming system.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Whatnot, OBS Studio, Streamlabs, livestream graphics, custom animations, overlays, alerts, and automated stream functions. Our goal is to create an exciting and polished viewer experience for live mystery-box openings, high-end graded cards, giveaways, auctions, and promotional events.
Responsibilities
- Set up and configure our complete Whatnot livestream system
- Connect and optimize Whatnot-compatible streaming software
- Create custom animated overlays, transitions, alerts, countdowns, and promotional graphics
- Program on-screen animations for sales, giveaways, big pulls, auction wins, and special events
- Configure cameras, microphones, lighting, capture devices, and other streaming equipment
- Set up multiple camera angles, including host, product, and close-up card views
- Create branded scenes for starting soon, live auctions, breaks, giveaways, intermissions, and stream endings
- Program hotkeys, Stream Deck controls, and automated stream functions
- Test the system for audio quality, video quality, stability, and synchronization
- Train our team on how to operate and manage the streaming setup
- Provide technical support during the initial launch and assist with troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Proven experience setting up professional livestreams
- Strong knowledge of OBS Studio, Streamlabs, or similar broadcasting software
- Experience creating custom motion graphics, animations, overlays, and alerts
- Familiarity with Whatnot or other live-auction and live-selling platforms
- Understanding of cameras, microphones, lighting, capture cards, and livestream hardware
- Ability to create a reliable and easy-to-operate system
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with trading cards, collectibles, gaming, or live breaks is preferred
Project Goal
We want to create a unique, professional, and highly entertaining Whatnot stream that separates our company from other sellers. The finished system should be visually impressive, fully branded, reliable, and simple enough for our team to operate during fast-paced live auctions.
